We are not your average music conference.
PRXMTY has grown from a regional showcase and conference to a nationwide brand supported by the worldwide urban music powerhouse The Blueprint Group/Maverick. We gather the next generation of music artists, creatives and aspiring executives to spark conversation around the topics they are passionate about from how to get a record deal to becoming an A&R to brand building.
At PRXMTY you are destined to meet other talented, music-inspired creatives, all while learning building blocks, tips and tricks from some of the best in the business. Attendees get access to a highly curated, impactful one-day program of panel discussions, Q&A sessions, and a live music showcase, as well as pop-up shops, photo booths, and more.
Our attendees come to feel inspired, learn about the music industry, and cultivate new relationships in a knowledge-filled, candid and fun environment. PRXMTY is an educational institution and incomparable platform whereby those interested in a career in music can reach and interact with the tastemakers, organizations, brands and artists within the hip-hop community all at the same time.

Meet the Founder
Michael Gomez
Michael Gomez, the entrepreneur turned CEO/branding guru/conference creator, has imparted a much-needed dose of curated, innovative and insightful knowledge to individuals seeking careers in the music industry but not residing in the primary U.S. music markets of NYC, LA, Atlanta and Nashville.
In 2014, Michael launched The Summit Music Conference in Denver, which has since been renamed to Proximity Music Conference. Michael has grown Proximity into a must-attend conference, where hundreds of music industry hopefuls gather to find themselves enlightened, inspired and entertained by the mix of speakers and live performances. The conference has been called “professional and chalk full of information” and a “must-attend conference that allows the rest of America to enjoy what people in the major music centers take for granted.”
Michael is a Los Angeles native and former professional basketball player with a background in experiential marketing and events. In 2015, he joined The Blueprint Group/Maverick as the Director of Conferences & Events. In addition to his responsibilities at The Blueprint Group/Maverick, Michael is the owner of Fogo Management Group, a LA based boutique marketing and music management company, where he is currently overseeing the development of Top Flite Empire, the biggest hip-hop group emerging from Denver, Colorado, whose 'Bad Decisions' album just placed #1 on Billboard's Heatseekers chart.
